After moving to the Durango area nearly eight years ago, I decided I eventually wanted to have my own business, after looking into several opportunities, I decided to start with embroidery. I have extensive backgrounds in sales on local, regional and even national levels, which I feel does much in understanding the needs of business both small and large.

Why embroidery?
Decorated apparel (embroidery, screenprinting and direct garment printing), is by far the largest and most used means of promoting business, big and small.  NeedleArt’s intention from the beginning has been to assist local and regional businesses in promoting themselves in their respective marketplaces. It is a delight for me to not just "sell shirts and hats", but rather to work with businesses of all sizes to develop an ongoing plan for advertising their business through the logoed apparel NeedleArt provides, and also now through promotional products.

Why Promotional Products?
  • I started this business doing only embroidery. Very soon after I opened, our customers began asking me if I could provide them with promotional products. After months of inquiry and several trips to promotional products trade shows, I joined the Advertising Specialties Institute ASI, and as a member, can provide you with thousands of products in all price ranges as another way to help promote your business. NeedleArt’s motto from the start has been “my business is promoting your business", so promotional products was a natural expansion of what I was already doing.
